Ok so like many people here I have a psp with custom firmware on it. It is version 5.0m33 (is this right?)

So I thought I saw something that said there is a newer version out. Well I didnt hack my psp myself so I have no idea how I go about updating it and I obviously dont want to break it.

I couldnt really find any good tutorials on the net so now I am asking here.

i think u have to remod it just like the xbox360. i only tried it once and failed i couldnt get the program to work on my pc, but its very easy and by now im sure they got better programs out that works on vista and xp u could easily do it ur self but if ur really that unsure just pay someone to do it. did u try looking on you-tube?

yeah there is 5.06 m33 - you can get it direct from the authors site

just dump the update into the game folder and run it, its tiny. A few speed increases on type 9 cso (heavy compressed isos) and better update prevention (eg it has a higher number than the latest sony update)

Oh yes you can only do that update if your on 5.0x m33 or higher, cause the 5 series needed the extracted sony 5.0 in flash 2 to work

So only use that update on 5.x or higher.
