I bought a Dell Laptop with windows 7 home premium a month ago and I reinstalled the system with the windows 7 DVD came with the Laptop. However I don't know I need to activate the windows 7 at that time.
Now after 30 days, I have a problem that, the windows message says that, my activation period has been expired. Even when I tried to input the product key on the Dell laptop, it is said that the product key is invalid.
Would you please tell me what to do except reinstalling the windows 7 if reinstallation can solve this problem.

you simply need to connect to the internet to activate.

If the DVD you used is the version that came with the laptop and you installed the corret version EG HOME.

Then it will work, it will not work if you chose a different edition.

I suggest reinstalling and mking sure you choose home.

hey xtreme my windows 7 copy just all of a sudden became in valid and i have top reactivate it. i can only think of the reason being me installing avg. i tried searching online for a activator but could find anything but useless programs. should i use a activator or is there another method?

The one update you can never do is the Malicious Software Removal Tool, if you install this you will go inactive again.

Make sure you dont, set your updates to let you decide if your using a cracked version.

my avg just detected, what should i do to get my windows 7 reactivated again?
