well id imagine you have to have a mod chip or something similar in your ps3 in order to be able to just do what you are asking

ps3 cant be hacked and if someone did hack it there not releasing how to if they did sony would be all over it. i dont think theres any mod chips for it. there is full ps3 games online u can download check the ps3 section out. but its all a big waste of space. for one u would need a blue ray burner to burn the games to br disks which that would cost a shit load of money. but even if u do that ps3 isnt going to read the disks. ur best bet is getting a xbox 360 or going with a wii. i got all 3 systems but by far the wii's the easiest to hack but the games suck imo. so ur better off with a xbox360 u can get it modded for like $40 and buy burned games for $5 or download them urself. well i hope this helps. also next time please use the help sections when u need help with something.

Hi,
I have been working on mod projects for PS3.
There is no working PS3 MOD CHIP, and no way to copy the games, despite software claiming it can.
The only thing that has worked so far, is playing PS2 games, via european consoles using the okd Usb advance and HD advance hacks.
But there is no way to Jukebox (play frrom hard drive) ps3 games. The PS3 remains the only game console in history to never receive a working custom firmware or a mod chip.
The last scam was that 50 working chips had been shipped for testing, it was simply a hoax to get banner money from people visiting the site for more info.
True NID launching has never been properly achieved which means there is no way to crash the loader properly to allow it to run any copied game.
People are making images of PS3 Games and sharing them on the off chance that one day there is a working loader.
http://www.ps3modchip.in/ps3/swap-ma...s2-backup-ps3/
Is the closest you can come to playing copied anything on the PS3.

that seems like a huge waste to just share that stuff with no use for it

Well it started like that with PSP games, and then when Dark-Alex release his custom firmware, everyone was really really glad that they did dump all the roms.
Sadly 4 years ago everyone thought it would be a month or 2, then a year in people thought it must me time, so they thought ooh lets backup the old titles incase they are lost.
And so it continued, but yes its a waste, and until blue ray discs are cheaper it really makes no sence.
cause even with a mod chip the cost to do backups would not reallly be worth the pain. not to mention the 12 hour burn process per disc.

12 hrs to burn a br disc? thats insane. i give sony props they really made killer money on the ps3. only thing thats bad the way ps3 went is no one wants to buy the system if u cant hack it. i love ps3 but if i could go back into time i would of never bought it. xbox360s the way to go.

yeah your right rod, Sony's argument is more developers would support the platform if it was not cracked, but it turns out less developers like it, because less people buy an UN-hackable console.
So yes you are one hundred percent right, while I am huge sony fan, I think xbox is definitely the best buy around, I also love my wii and my CFW'ed PSP.
They opened a shop near me that has 30 xboxes networked together, and their weekend lan death matches for gears, cod mw2 and so on are pretty epic.
They also have a decent stock of all the latest games, so its pretty sweet, played the latest Final Fantasy there 5 days before release, and god of war 3.

yeah these guys seem to do well, and consoles are pretty cheap, also much like a net cafe they make most of their cash off kids playing death match,
but with out the problem of viruses etc, im pretty keen to open one up myself they do well enough to be buying a new car.

exactly only thing u would have to worry about is virus's and the consoles breaking other then that u should be worry free. hey xtreme did u hear the u.s. wants to increase its download speed for all of u.s.? i think it said from 10 to 100mbps iirc.

i havent heard about google but what yahoo posted was a story about who ever controls the internet air ways in the u.s. wants to increase the speed but the problem they have is so many companies have unused airway rights they would have to give up to free the space. if i knew how to search yahoo news history i'd pull it up for ya its a decent read

Yeah in most countries their is squabling over wireless airwaves in that case the 5.6 ghz band used for Wimax, which is a 50km radius wireless based tech.
But googles new cable internet at 1GB is the ultimate, there is a place in the south that renamed the city google, just to hope to get to be a test state for it.
