I had a Windows 7 installation which ran perfectly through over 2 months, and suddenly it comes up with the "this copy is not genuine". Do I uninstall it, or is there a solution?

Hi,

You need to change your Updates to Let you choose what to install, and NEVER EVER install Malicious Software Removal Tool, It will remove your bypass activation cracks or boot loaders.

Reboot your pc, turn off windows defender, disable uac, reboot, run your activation again.

Your win7 should be activated again.

Remember never allow the MRT update.

Hi, Xtreame96, I did what you suggested, and while I succeeded in solving the basic problem (re-loaded Win 7), I've run into another problem: No Sound. Tried to install Realtek Drivers (last time round, had done the same thing and there was no problem), but I'm getting the message which says: Before Realtek, you have to install Windows Bus Driver, or words to that effect. Searched around, can't seem to find what I need.

Can you help out here? Hope it's not too much trouble. Also, should I or should I not allow updates? (Noted the instruction about NEVER allowing the MRT update, but what about other updates?).

All other updates are fine.

As for your audio problem , get driver genius 9 it will sort that, or use the online update for it. Windows update works great just manually choose your updates.
