guyz m looking for a software tat can edit video files as in ...it can edit dv cam (hd format) videos so tat it can run on a t.v n i want to put in some special effects to .....not like movie maker but professional like the original song videos......hmm...like duplicating a person n stuff...!!!!

I would recommend Adobe After Effects CS4 you can find it in the master edition set which is in the apps section

cn u help me on another thing .....i found something better its from VisionLab....n i cant find da software ny were .... did sum 1 posted it here..!!!!! i searched but cudnt find nythin actually i want the whole bundel which goes by the name "VisionLab Complete Bundle"

Vision Lab is not very good, the Industry standards other than AVID, FLAME, FLINT and Pirhana, are After Effects, Premier and on MAC and app called FinalCut.

DO a search in AIO and apps.

what about sony vegas...?

Sony vegas is also nice for basic editing, I think this guy wants to do compposite special effects with out knowing about video editing, hes under the impression that the software above is like that easy to do effects.

He will find out when he tries its not that simple.
