Thanks for your advices.Sorry for disturbing u.These days I'am having a problem with my mp3 player.Its malfunctioning.Fm radio works but (2gb)
stored songs doesn't work.Some times ask to format..
I format this using various types of options available.But still having problems.
I dont have cd with me.
I think I need firmware upgrade... Can you tell me wt to do......
my brother has bought this from australia.No way back...

Hi,

When you unplug the mp3 player you must use the safe remove feature, thats why your getting The format issue.

Because mp3 player act like flash drives they can also be damaged by viruses as well.

If you do format the mp3 player - format it as FAT32 not NTFS.

And remember to run the EJECT/SAFE REMOVE HARDWARE in windows before you unplug it each time.
Not safely removing the mp3 player can damage the storage space if transcations are still in the write cache that affect the File Allocation Table or descriptors.
