saints row 2 crash and windows 7 [please help]

ok so i recently switched to win7x64 ultimate and so far so good. I recetly bought saints row 2 from steam and it finally finished downloading...
i go to play it and the game just crashes. i Have tried running it with compatibility and even installing win7x86 still no luck

anyone else no about this problem or how to fix it ???

Sounds like a graphics issue, run DXdiag, also saints row is known to be buggy with nvidia cards.

Update, just installed it on my pc it plays fine.

yeah i tried that and thats where i ran in to a problem....

i runt the nvidia graphics installer and it runs with no errors but then just finishes... like it doesnt change my drivers and doesnt ask me to restart.

im sure i am downloading the right version for win7 x64 and have even tried re-downloading the installer

still no luck

If you bought it, you can put in a support ticket with steam, they should be able to sort it based on the crash log.

First thing I would try is reducing resolution.
