kaspersky help please

this must be the hardest anti virus program to set especially the v9. im trying to change the setting so i can open up video files after i download them and extract them. i tried to go into settings but i cant find where to change the setting for application specifically. i literally have to turn off my protection to view any video files

can someone help please. thanks in advance for any help

Hi,

The problem is not the video files, its the settings for the application associated with the video files, when you double click the video its launching:

SomeVideoApp.exe %1

(%1 means load what ever file at launch)

Im guessing that at some point something in your video app asked a security question that you said no too.

Check your application rules for that specific video app.

its doing it for all my videos. i use windows media player classic. it launches if i turn off kaspersky

Ok then just check the application rules for that application, chances are something is being blocked.

The latest Gom is very good.

bro disable the parental control in kasper.............i hope this will work 4 u...

how do u check the app rules for just one thing?
