Ballykissangel - Series Three
Ballykissangel (also known as BallyK) is a series set in a small village in Ireland. The series starts with a new priest, Father Peter Clifford (Stephen Tompkinson), taking over the local priestly duties in BallyK. The locals are happy to have a new priest, but are suspious of this Englishman. The local pub is owned by Asumpta Fitzgerald (Dervla Kirwan), and the local constable, Ambrose Egan (Peter Hanly), is setting up a family with the daughter, Niamh Quigley (Tina Kellegher), of the local business leader of the community, Brian Quigley (Tony Doyle) (information for the first three seasons/series)
Episode: 1 - As Happy as a Turkey on Boxing Day
Christmas time and all is not well in BallyK. A child is missing (down a well), Ambrose's mother is visiting (and annoying Brian), and Father Clifford is looking after Timmy for Father MacAnnally. Timmy is soon to become a Father himself (ordained).

Episode: 2 - When a Child Is Born
Ambrose's mother visits and Niamh is close to giving birth to Ambrose's child. Meanwhile, a miracle has been discovered, and the town is swamped with visitors. Father Clifford is suspious while Father MacAnnally likes the increase in donations. Brian Quigley's also acting suspiciously, buying up some land (from Eamonn Byrnne) without explanation given.

Episode: 3 - Changing Times!
Brian Quigley is on another money making scheme. This time he has hooked up with some Korean investors and their deal involves destroying a beloved BallyK spot. The town protests and Father Clifford and Assumpta join in the protest. Meanwhile, Eamonn has been encouraged to find some romance, and specifically that he should target Kathleen.

Episode: 4 - Stardust in Your Eyes
Niamh is in charge at the pub while Assumpta is in London, and due to the extra work, Imelda (Ambrose's mother) is in charge of (or watches over) the new baby.
Quigley and the Korean businessmen continue negotiations, and if the negotiations fall through, Quigley could face extreme financial problems.

Episode: 5 - The Fortune in Men's Eyes
With the failed Korean business deal, Quigley sees his house, car, and place in BallyK taken from him. But then Quigley starts showing an interest in Imelda, though concerns are raised about whether the interest is due more to the newly discovered (by Quigley) fact that Imelda happens to have some money.
Quigley is not the only one to suffer from his financial set-back, as Liam and Donal are left to fend for themselves (fired). This turn of events hampers Donal's planned upcoming marriage to Sue Ellen.
Meanwhile, while all this trouble hits BallyK at the same time, their spiritual guide, Father Peter, is off on a retreat.

Episode: 6 - I Know When I'm Not Wanted
Both Father Peter and Assumpta return from their breaks from BallyK. Father Peter is surprised by both what he finds in his house when he returns (or who he finds), and by who Assumpta has dragged back to BallyK, her new husband.

Episode: 8 - Lost Sheep
A visitor stops by BallyK looking into her family history. Meanwhile, Siobhan & Brendan's relationship strengthens, while Leo and Assumpta's relationship weakens.
Leo stresses that he always has and always will love Assumpta, but can't stay with her still interested in/loving another.

Episode: 9 - The Waiting Game
BallyK erupts into excitement after it is learned that a winning lottery ticket, worth £6 million, was purchased at Kathleen's shop. No one immediately comes forth to claim the money, and the BallyK residents become restless.
Meanwhile, Ambrose takes an undercover police assignment.
And once again, Father Peter is absent from BallyK, but this time he is in Manchester with his dying mother.
