I hardly ever use Windows Media Player.....EVER.
A great program thet I use to watch my DVD's and other media files is InterVideo WinDVR or InterVideo WinDVD Gold 5. Both of these programs came with my Plextor ConvertX that I use to capture video. You can save these as JPEG images. There's really not that many spftware apps that I know of that will let you do this. VLC Media Player let's you take a snapshot, but it fades away and I don't really know how to save it |
