764 MB how to burn it to a CD

I have downloaded a software with 764 MB in size, Can I burn it to normal CD (700 MB) by using Nero or Roxio ?

I have read couple threads that I can overburned the additional MB, I am not quite sure how to enable that feature with Nero or Roxio (V7 and V8 respectively).

How many MB can be added above the permitted (700 MB) ?

Are you using this method just to archive your collection of downloads? If the file is not in .zip/.rar format already, you could compress it and see what size you have now. You could buy you some larger sized CD-R's, I believe they make some 750MB or 800MB.

use nero 7 and u can burn 720MB in the disc size of 700MB

or other way u can zip the file and reduce the size and overburn it by nero

is there a way of burning 701mb to 700mb disk because a vcd i downloaded is 1mb over and i do not really want to buy more disks just for 1 problem
