This release is the standalone version of Counter-Strike: Source released by DigitalZone. It contains the newest Update including the newest official map release of cs_assault. We made this compilation to make installation simple and easy, especially for those people who seem to have problems installing the game & applying its updates.
Future Updates will also be released in similar installers adjusted to this version of CSS. You'll have to own this copy in order to be able to install future updates released by us.

Instructions

This download is released by DigitalZone who specialises in releasing standalone/non-steam editions of Sierra products.
This release DOES NOT need Steam, CDKEY, crack/keygen or anything else.
To play online, simply goto "Find Server" option on the CS:S menu and browse through your desired servers
The servers are Cracked and should never ask you for serial/key
Games are hosted on VAC2 servers.

1. First download cs source and all the updates.
2. Install cs source and then update 18.
3. Then download and install the server fix.
4. copy MasterServers.vdf from the server fix to [css-install-directory]\platform\config\ , and overwrite the one that was already there.
5. Right click on MasterServers.vdf and tick read-only, then click apply and ok
6. Your done!

This still isn't nearly as good as online play with steam because there are only sh!t servers out there that are cracked; as much as steam sucks you gotta stick with it for good servers

You're right but this is especially a lan-play version. If you want to play cs:s for real online matches you have to pay (a little price)

you can the pacsteam that i realeased in this forum it got online play which can play some sever not all and u can look for good cracked sever by going oficial pacsteam forum + it got all updates wit new maps and it is runned by cracked steam so u can download almsot al games on stop or by using bfs
