I can accept the ruling that one can not make requests until, and unless, one has made the required number of posts.
But I find it disturbing that one can not read the requests of others and perhaps help unless one has the same number of posts required to make requests.

I would request somebody explain the logic of this, but I don't have enough posts to make requests.
