i know that there should be a minimum count

its rather stupid making people make a minimum post count as soon as they join.. more important is the activity levels later. making a feedback post just to improve post count is stupid ... please someone tell me the way around the forum ..

I quite like the post idea, it makes you take the time to learn the site without all sorts of requests flooding in, if you look around you usually find what you need without making a requets anyway.

the prob i see in the minimum-post-number is, that people just post unconstructive stuff to get the requested number of posts ...

it might be better to count the replies to one's post as well and let people quote for the quality - and the better the quote - the more points somebody will get

I agree with mauritze, I have seen a lot of posts which are useless stuff. It should be the quality of the post that should count rather than the numbers.

Agree..post numbers shall balance or fine tune in order to keep quality.
